Bigfoot

I guess Totoro was grossing people out so I've updated my blog with another woodland creature. This one painted with watercolors about 20 years ago. I think I was 7 or 8 at the time.

The green hands with black claws are my favorite part. Well, that and the half-sun peeking from behind the tree. Nice!

Bigfoot is a great character- nice look at some of your early work! Oh, and I thought the Totoro piece was great- the gore looked very realistic and moist... the way gore should look!!

Wow, you were really good at hands when you were 7! I think I was potty trained when I was 7...

It's such a cool composition! And yes, that Totorro piece is very disturbing and intriguing at the same time. Great stuff!

hahaha - wish I had my old, old stuff. Seems like even at 7 you had some sort of intuitive understanding of depth, though. Interesting.
