Illusionarium
This is an audiobook cover I illustrated for an awesome book by my awesome friend: Heather Dixon. It was a ton of fun to do and I'm very happy with the way it turned out. Check it out here.

I feel so fortunate when I get to do covers that really resonate with me and this lovely ghost story by Lauren DeStefano is definitely one of those. Check out this awesome book here.

Rose and the Silver Ghost
The fourth and final book in the Rose series. I've loved working on these covers, I think it's some of my best work (and they're good books). Check this one out here.

Hardy Boys Adventures: Shadows at Predator Reef and Deception on the Set
A few of these have come out and I haven't posted them yet, so here we are. I've also realized that I've never mentioned the art director I've worked with for these, Karin Paprocki. She's awesome and deserves a lot of credit for how these have turned out.
I love sharks (from a distance) so I had fun with this one. All cool colors. Check it out here.
This one takes place on a movie set so I was going for a big Hollywood style explosion. I pointed out the cool colors on the last one because of all the warm colors here, it's kinda cool to see them side by side like this. Amazon link!

Grave Images
When I was offered this job I was swamped with work but found myself physically incapable of saying no to a girl in a graveyard image. This was a lot of fun! The book is by Jenny Goebel and may be purchased here.

Friend Illustrations - October and December
I'm always so excited to get a job from the Friend Magazine. The designers and art directors are awesome and these two paintings, like all the images I do for them, were very fun and fulfilling.

Hardy Boys Adventures: The Vanishing Game
I loved the Hardy Boys mysteries when I was a kid (and still do) so I was very exited when the chance came along to do the covers for their latest series called Hardy Boys Adventures. This book is called The Vanishing Game, you can check it out here.

Disney Infinity
This is a huge game and there are significant parts of it that I never touched and didn't know much about (which has made it fun to play since it's been released). While I worked a bit on the Intro, the Toybox, and Pirates portions of the game, I mainly worked on the Monsters University playset. Particularly the Fear Tech campus. Fear Tech is mentioned in the movie but we never see it so the overall look was done with regular input from the geniuses at Pixar. The main idea was that while MU was an eastern, ivy league, Harvard style campus, FT would be a western, technical, Caltech style campus. So it was a lot of fun to design the visual look of everything with those influences in mind. Gabe Avila was the designer on this so he did the overall layout, and Ryan Wood was the art director so a fair amount of what you're seeing came from him too. I won't bore you with who did what, just keep in mind that it was a team effort. Here's some shots of our work:

I also worked with the marketing team for a while and helped set up some of the screen shots that were sent to the press. Of the ones I did these are a few of my favorites (again, team effort! I'm not taking sole credit):

I really loved working on this game. My son and I have a hard time finding games to play together sometimes. Either they're too hard for him or boring for me. Since I received my copy we've played Infinity for hours together, always having a great time. It was a lot of long, hard work but I think the finished product is something genuinely special.
