de Muertos y Gringos

Things have been insane at work and my wife is on the verge of birthing a baby so I've had precious little time to draw lately. However I was able to produce this, my addition to the Spaghetti Western theme which Joe, Sam, Ryan, and I have been doing. Better late than never I guess.

Oh my gosh! This one is unbelievable Kevin!! By far my favorite of yours!
I love everything about it: color scheme, character design, composition, lighting etc...
Congratulations! I'm proud to know you!

Kevin, you've done some awesome things in your day. But this is, by far, the most spectacular image you have yet created.

I'm inspired.

Wohooow, that is awesome! Amazing colors and use of light. I really dig your style and design as well. I have to learn some more digital painting. You know of any good training DVD's or such, or can you even learn from those???

Again, great image!

I'm agreeing with all the other comments on this on Kevin... Flat out awesome. Next to horror, western stuff is right at the top of my list of favorite things. You really did knock the ball right out of the park with this one. Killer, killer work. Keep it up!!

So Steve James ran over to my desk this morning and said "You've GOT to see Kevin's latest!"

I was expecting cool, but WOW this rocks sooo hard! You're giving Sam a run for his money hah. Looove all three characters, the text, everything!

I especially love the girl because that's the sort of look I'm trying to pull off with my 3D Pinup. Thanks a bunch for the inspiration!

This is beautiful, Kevin! I love everything about it... the lighting is great, the character designs are incredible, and I love the limited colors. This is about the best thing I've ever seen. I want to marry it... and I agree with Ryan about the girl. Great stuff, Kevin... just amazing!

Amazing imagery Kevin! Wow! The girl is my favorite. Her pose and expression speak volumes. The guys who are with her are sweet too. How do you do it?

Well I think everybody else has pretty much got it right. I love this picture too! I can see why you said this is one of your favorite pieces you've ever done. And I can definitely see how the girl looks like a certain someone. Way cool! How about I just pay you to do my school projects from now on? Eh? Anyway, again, I love this one. This is one I really think you should have hanging up in your house.
