This is one of my favorite illustrations. I know I say that about all of your work. I like the design and the girl. In fact looking closer at her, she could be Max's sister. I thought the cat was black? Maybe I'm thinking or another painting.
I love the house design, and her face is really sympathetic which helps balance out the sort of creepy feeling to the rest.
