The Headless Horseman of Sleepy Hollow

"What was to be done? To turn and fly was now too late; and besides, what chance was there of escaping Ghost or Goblin, if such it was, which could ride upon the wings of the wind?"

  1. This is so AWESOME!!! I gasped when I first saw it. I love the lighting and the way it's framed. This picture captures the mood so well and fits the story description perfectly.

This is definitely one of my favorite things you've done. I absolutely love it!

  5. Great work, The little color really puts you in the mood that it is late in the night and there is some headless horseman after you. I love the horse and the moon. Over all Very Halloweenish.

  6. Is Halloween your time of the year or what? Those trees are great the way they seem to reach out to grab you before you can excape.

5 I would love to see the horse with orange red burning eyes and a similar look coming from between the shoulders where the head is supposed to be. I just think you would create awesome ilghting effects similar to the hilights in the tree. I know you could make that look incredible. You're a very talented artist. Thanks for the inspiration

  15. Hello Kevin! I wanted to ask this over e-mail, but I couldn't find the address on your blog anywhere.

My name is Ronny and I run a small roleplaying game company (Principle Factor Games). I was wondering if you would be interested in allowing us to use this piece of art for one of our projects, we are doing a writeup of the Dullahan, the irish Headless Horseman. If you are interested please pass me an e-mail back and how much you would like for the usage.

On a side note after running across this picture on google I've been looking through the rest of your gallery, you have some beautiful work here.

How could you permit me to use this horseman to my avatar in relationship sites?
